Every player has a strength. Strength defines how hard an attack hits an opponent and therefore how much damage it does. Forest monsters, masters and the Red Dragon do not have defense.
Gaining Defense[]
Each time you reach a new level, your defense will increase.
Giving the bartender at the Inn two gems and asking for Vitality will increase it by one.
